Entitled “Exploder”, Rick Owens’ AW2007 collection played with volume and texture to create what he called simple, primitive shapes. With a focus on outerwear, garment were simultaneously jagged, smooth, and sculptural, allegedly inspired by a beetle’s hard casing.
