PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Worn on the runway for Raf Simons’ SS2015 show. The collection explored themes of nature and the show had a “febrile” atmosphere, according to Tim Blanks of Vogue. Music was sourced from Jonathon Glazer’s film 'Under the Skin', and harsh white lights and shadowing made the audience stand upright.

Made from polyester, this singlet is lightweight and feels like a piece of recycled material, with perforated holes and clean seams running down either side of the electric blue body. The material's texture is akin to a padded cloth. Like many pieces from the collection, the navy collar was recycled from another garment. Other collars featured recycled prints with images that portrayed important fragments of Simons’ personal history, as abstract as a feeling or a scent, or in more tangible cases, an image of Mt. Fuji or an astronaut.

A unique and rare item, its’ stretchy nature makes it versatile and easily wearable.
