Prada AW2015 Sneaker Sole Boots

Miuccia Prada’s AW2015 collection was largely characterised by a reimagining of everyday uniform, an idea perfectly encompassed by these boots. Their raised sneaker-like sole was a motif throughout the show, and emphasised a need for comfort without compromising Prada’s elegant and at times severe aesthetic. The outsole’s natural curvature and rigid technical grip further enhance the comfortable practicality that belied the footwear seen on the runway.

This subtle twist in the form of a sneaker-like sole takes shape on a classic black leather Chelsea boot silhouette, first popularised in the early 19th century. It features stretch gore insets at either side and a nylon pull tab allowing for increased flexibility when worn and ease when taking on and off. The Prada logo is embossed on both the inner and outer sole. Includes original box and shoe bag.
