Moschino 2000s Hangover Cure Long Sleeve Tee
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
It genuinely might.
Since its inception, Moschino has been renowned for its use of witty catchphrases. It was perhaps the first couture house to introduce satire to the runway in the early 1980s.
As for today’s obssession with ironic slogans and logo parodies - a trend rebooted by Vetements - Moschino did them first.
This long sleeve is a classic example. A wardrobe staple, it features a base of white cotton with a large capitalised, ”THIS T-SHIRT WILL HELP CURE A HANGOVER” slogan in black; and a small Moschino logo at the rear. A tongue in cheek swipe at society’s over reliance on luxury. Its printing in the quintessentially conservative Times New Roman font is yet another ironic touch. Satire at its best.
