This blazer is an extremely rare example from Comme des Garçons Homme Plus’ SS06 collection. The show paid homage to legendary British rock band The Rolling Stones, using their iconic ‘Tongue & Lips’ logo as a key motif throughout.

True to the 1960’s era in which the Stones were born, the logo was printed in a diptych across garments in reference to Andy Warhol’s canonical Campbell’s Soup Cans and Marilyns.

The blazer features a soft white base, which contrasts against the rich, red ‘Tongue & Lips’, making the logo pop unlike any other piece from the collection. This is complemented by black polkadots, which add to the overall 60’s rocker vibe. The blazer is constructed from a thick rayon knit outer which is beautifully soft and drapes elegantly due to its weight when worn.

It features two interior and exterior pockets, as well as a semi-wide pointed lapel with one button and a single vent allowing for flexibility. Being half-lined it has a somewhat deconstructed feel. The body is slightly fitted while the arms are more relaxed.

We are proud to say that to the best of our knowledge, this is the first time this piece has been brought to the online market.
