Founded in 1987, HOMME DEUX was the third menswear line under the COMME des GARÇONS umbrella. Designed by Kawakubo herself, the line explores traditional Western designs using Japanese techniques, resulting in tailored clothing that is easy to wear, tastefully elegant, and unrestrictive to the body. While more understated than that of the mainlines, elements of the CDG universe seep into every HOMME DEUX collection, albeit subtly.

A true classic, this pinstripe blazer is typical of HOMME DEUX. It features a three button closure, creating a shorter lapel and shallower V, as well as a slightly boxy and relaxed shape. At the rear, a single stitched-down vent makes for breathability and ease of wear, whilst also maintaining the blazers structure. Half-lined, and beautifully finished, the blazer is ideal for any occasion across all seasons.

Hailing from the AW2007 collection, elements of this blazer including its dark pinstripe, and three button lapel can be observed within the HOMME PLUS presentation of the same year.
