COMME des GARÇONS’ AW99 show was a subtle subversion of femininity, entitled ‘Transformed Glamour’. It was yet another reminder of Rei Kawakubo's ability to reconcile her inner punk and lady. The striking terracotta base of this singlet was a prominent colour in the AW99 collection.
Seen here in a more wearable silhouette than its avant-garde runway counterparts, it is constructed from a fine mid-weight cotton, and provides for a summery toned essential.
